Fallen Tree Causes Crash Near Alfriston

A fallen tree caused a crash at Berwick last night (2 August).

Two cars hit the tree just off the A27 Drusillas Roundabout, with one left severely damaged, but no one was hurt.

Fire crews from Eastbourne and Seaford were sent to the scene along with police at 11.30pm.

Highways engineers removed the tree.
