More life saving devices have been given to Eastbourne.

The town’s Lions Club has donated a new defibrillator for public use to Eastbourne Pier. The most senior member of the club, Albert Fendall, who’s 98, presented it to the pier’s owner, Sheikh Abid Gulzar, who said it would be installed within the hour.

Mr Fendall said, "It was really important to install this equipment as soon as possible with Eastbourne Airbourne this week bringing many thousands of spectators."
