Stephen Lloyd’s encouraging us to get involved with the Eastbourne Memory Walk this weekend.
The event on Sunday (21 August), is raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society. It starts at 10.30am at the entrance of Princes Park and goes along to Holywell and back again.
Explaining why he’s taking part, Stephen said, “Speaking for myself, my favourite Aunt, Bernadette (yup I'm half Irish) has advanced dementia and its affected this wonderful, ebullient, marvellous woman shockingly. Something that sadly many of you will also recognise from your own experience.”
The walk has been organised by Tony Bates, who hopes to raise £500 though the event. You can support the cause here.
