Eastbourne's former MP, Stephen Lloyd, is pointing the finger of blame at the High Weald Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) over the current state of the patient transport service.
The service has come under fire since it was taken over by Coperforma back in April, but Mr Lloyd believes a higher power is at fault.
The High Weald CCG is in charge of non-urgent patient transport and appointed the company to run the service and with a meeting now scheduled for tomorrow (5 September), Mr Lloyd hopes they'll step up to the plate.
The meeting has come about after a planned strike was announced by GMB Union members in a dispute over changes to terms and conditions in their contract.
