Fire Safety Training Offered To East Sussex Businesses

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service is reminding businesses that free fire safety training is available.

The reminder comes at the start of the Chief Fire Officers Association’s UK Business Safety Week (5th – 11th September 2016).

80% of businesses that suffer a serious fire close within 18 months. Despite being able to rebuild their physical assets, their customers are often long gone.

The Service runs special sessions aimed at helping local businesses understand their responsibilities when it comes to fire safety and keep their doors open.

Safer Business Training – what you’ll learn

Introduction to Business Fire Safety is a half day course, full of information and real life case studies.

Aimed at employers and people who own or manage a business premises, it is designed to get you up to speed on Fire Safety Law and its implications as well as an overview of Fire Risk Assessment and what that means to you.

You will be provided with useful information and guidance to keep and use in the workplace.
