Two drivers from Eastbourne have each been stripped of their licences, after being caught driving whilst under the influence.
Hassan Alaani from Princes Road, was arrested in Lottbridge Drove on 28 June and charged with driving with 8mcg of cannabis per litre of blood in his system.
The 23-year-old electrician pleaded guilty at Hastings Magistrates Court on 31 August and was disqualified from driving for 12 months, as well as being ordered to pay a £300 fine, £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
Meanwhile, Tinashe Nengoma from Langney Road was arrested on the A27 at Pevensey on 17 June and charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
The 37-year-old builder pleaded guilty at Eastbourne Magistrates Court on 17 August and was banned from the road for 12 months and ordered to pay a £900 fine and a £90 victim surcharge.
