Eastbourne’s Disability Involvement Group (EDIG) is once again pleased to be working in partnership with the Seniors Forum to organise this year’s Good Life Show incorporating the Disability Road Show. The event will take place on Wednesday, September 28, 10am -4pm in the Winter Gardens, Eastbourne. Entry is free and open to everyone.
Councillor Janet Coles, the Council’s Disability Champion and member of EDIG said, ‘‘The Good Life show is an excellent showcase for all the services, provisions and amenities that can make life so much easier for all of us.’’
Shirley McCall, Chair of EDIG added, “EDIG really does have a very prominent place for disabled people. We are able to be involved in situations that arise and affect our day to day living and also new ventures for our town. Working with Eastbourne Borough Council over many issues has proved very beneficial for not only disabled people but all residents of our town. It is a good opportunity to work in partnership with the Seniors Forum and join the Good Life Show for the second year running.”
It promises to be a fantastic event, there will be over fifty information displays by local services and many exhibitions from mobility equipment providers enabling people to try out the latest technology.
