Eastbourne’s MP has responded to calls asking as to whether she will be backing the NHS Reinstatement Bill when it’s presented to Parliament in November.
Earlier today (27 September) the Green Party asked Caroline Ansell to nail her colours to the mast on the issue, particularly in light of the situation surround non-urgent patient transport in Sussex.
Caroline Ansell said, “I will be looking very carefully at the bill when it is published, but as a private members bill it is unlikely to make progress.
“Without knowing specifically what the bill proposes until publication, it is difficult for me to comment in any detail at present.
“I do however, share concerns regarding the performance of Coperforma and anything that can be done to avoid any future similar problems would, of course, be welcome.”
