The Good Life Show is at Eastbourne’s Winter Garden today (28 September).
Organised by Eastbourne’s Disability Involvement Group (EDIG) in partnership with the Seniors Forum, there will be over 50 stalls packed with information on services and activities available to older people in the town.
The event runs between 10am-4pm and is free to all.
Councillor Janet Coles, the Council’s Disability Champion and member of EDIG said, ‘‘The Good Life show is an excellent showcase for all the services, provisions and amenities that can make life so much easier for all of us.’’
Shirley McCall, Chair of EDIG added, “EDIG really does have a very prominent place for disabled people. We are able to be involved in situations that arise and affect our day to day living and also new ventures for our town. Working with Eastbourne Borough Council over many issues has proved very beneficial for not only disabled people but all residents of our town. It is a good opportunity to work in partnership with the Seniors Forum and join the Good Life Show for the second year running.”
