A Holocaust survivor’s calling for the reinstatement of Holocaust Memorial Day in Eastbourne.
Dorit Oliver-Wolff was a child when she was held by the SS in Budapest. She was one of the lucky ones and lived to tell the tale.
Now a grandmother, Dorit lives in Eastbourne and was disappointed that this year, Holocaust Memorial Day had no specific commemoration in the town.
Now she’s calling on the Borough Council to put plans in place to make sure the day on 27 January isn’t forgotten in 2017.
