Eastbourne EU Debate Finds New Home

Thursday 5th May 2016

Eastbourne MP Caroline Ansell has been forced to move her free EU Referendum debate to a bigger venue following massive interest from local people wanting to attend.

The BIG Eastbourne EU debate will now take place at the 1680 capacity Congress Theatre in the town after the 900-seat Winter Garden was simply too small for the numbers wanting to take part.

“The Winter Garden was filled in just a few weeks but scores of other people were asking about attending, so we’ve made the decision to go large,” said Caroline.

“This move just shows how much thirst there is in Eastbourne to find out more about the issues surrounding the referendum, and I’m delighted we can now accommodate even more local people in the bigger venue.”

The event is taking place 26 May 2016 from 7-9pm and Caroline is chairing the panel discussion.

Others taking part are: Dan Hannan MEP, Lord Marks, LibDem Spokesman for Justice, CHECKATRADE founder Kevin Byrne, David Sears Former Deputy Director of British Chambers of Commerce) and Broadcaster and Journalist Cole Moreton.

Tickets are now available online.
