The top twelve names for gritters in East Sussex have been shortlisted.

After asking primary school children to come up with names for the new fleet ahead of the winter, East Sussex Highways are now asking us to pick the best of the best.

Names making the shortlist include, The Olaf Express, Salty McSaltface, Grittendor and Walter the Salter.

We can cast our votes online, with the winners to be announced at midday on Friday (14 October).
