Eastbourne ventriloquist, Steve Hewlett, is getting ready to mark 30 years in the business.
As he prepares for his 30 Years of Talking To Myself Tour, Steve wants our help, as he looks to try out new material on a home crowd, before hitting the road in the New Year.
It’s been a busy 2016 for Steve, who shot to fame on Britain’s Got Talent. Back in the Spring, he performed with American TV ventriloquist, Ronn Lucas at the Congress Theatre, as well as welcoming his second daughter, Larissa, into the world with his wife, Nina.
Steve has announced a pop up show in at The Junction Tavern in Polegate on Sunday 6 November at 8pm. Tickets are £10 each and can bought direct from Steve by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or from behind the bar at The Tavern. Whilst there’s no age restriction, adults are preferred at the show.
Steve said, "I'm really looking forward to these gigs as they are small venues only around 100 people and I'm up close and having fun with the crowd, trying new material every night. It's maybe a New Steve Hewlett they've never seen before as well as the classic humour I bring, that is just something I can't change, I just hope it's funnier than ever."
