Dog walkers are being urged to take extra care when walking at Beachy Head.
It follows the rescue of Bonnie, a field spaniel, from partway down the cliffs yesterday (25 October).
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, who assisted in the rescue with specialist rope rescue teams, are putting the warning out, to try and prevent other dogs from going over the cliff edge.
They’re reminding us to stay away from the edge and would encourage us to keep pets on a lead when in the area.
