We're being encouraged to join the My Red Thumb campaign in Eastbourne today (12 May)
It's hoped it'll raise awareness of the dangers of using a mobile whilst driving and is being backed by emergency services.
Research shows that drivers who use a phone at the wheel - whether hand-held or hands-free - are four times more likely to have a crash.
If you're caught, you could face a £100 fine, three penalty points and if you're caught twice, you will lose your licence.
It's hoped the hashtag #MyRedThumb will go viral on social media today.
