A Christmas light switch on in Pevensey Bay has raised hundreds for Eastbourne Lifeboats.
Tina and Jeff, who live in Westham Drive, have decorated their home and held an afternoon of festive fun on Saturday (3 December) to help raise funds for the RNLI. There was a BBQ, music, Voices Choir sang and a bucket collection.
Coxswain Mark Sawyer threw the switch, with a little help from Father Christmas himself!
£660 was raised on the night from raffle ticket sales, a tombola, mince pies, roast chestnuts, the BBQ and refreshments, with a bucket collection remaining in place until New Year’s Day to continue to collect for the charity.
