'Public Need Full Meeting' Say Eastbourne Friends Of The Earth

With some of Eastbourne's politicians joining the cry of campaigners for a public consultation into the future of Downland farms, more still needs to be done.

That's according to Eastbourne and District Friends of the Earth, who feel a full public meeting must be called into the sale of the freehold.

The Conservatives at Town Hall have taken MP Caroline Ansell's call for a public consultation a step further, by demanding a referendum.
