Politics have been put aside at Eastbourne Town Hall in the name of charity.
Gathering at Profiles in Grove Road, five members of the Borough Council prepared for a hair-raising challenge last night (12 December).
Leader of the authority, David Tutt and the Leader of the Conservative Group, Tony Freebody were to swap the colours of their beards, whilst three officers, including the Chief Executive, Rob Cotrill, all died their hair. Most swapped black for white, or white for black, with the exception of one, who was inspired by the Mayor’s brown hair.
All five were raising money for three charities, including the Mayor’s two chosen charities for the year.
