Eastbourne saw a bumper festive period, with an estimated 66,000 people attending a Christmas event, organised by the town’s Chamber of Commerce.
The Coca-Cola lorry was a huge pull, with the Arndale Centre reporting its busiest Saturday of the year during its visit. Some 8,500 cans of Coke were handed out throughout the day, with 11,500 people thought to have come to visit the lorry and pose for a photo with it.
Meanwhile, the Christmas Market on the Bandstand enjoyed around 30,000 visitors during its run.
It’s not yet known how much money was raised for Eastbourne Lifeboats through the vintage bus run by Stagecoach, which helped to ferry festive shoppers around the town.
