The Met Office is warning of ice across Eastbourne tomorrow (13 January).
A severe weather warning has been issued from just after midnight until 10am tomorrow. The yellow alert is a result of the heavy rain and snow due to hit later on today. A seperate yellow weather warning is in place from midday today until midnight.
A few centimetres of snow are expected across East Sussex this evening, with sleet starting in Eastbourne from 7pm, which could turn to heavy snow by 8pm, with temperatures dropping to below freezing overnight.
Caution is being urged for those heading out on the road and East Sussex Highways have confirmed the gritters will be out at 7.30pm and 10pm tonight.
