An Eastbourne charity has donated £10,000 to the University of Brighton for research into altitude sickness.
Para Monte was set up in memory of Adam Savory, who died whilst trekking in Peru. The 25-year-old became ill owing to the altitude and passed away.
Now, his friends and family want to make sure that doesn't happen to anyone else and raised the money for the university. An app has also been launched to help those thinking about going away.
