A man from Eastbourne has been arrested in connection with an alleged stabbing at Sovereign Harbour.
The 28-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and has been bailed until Friday 17 March, pending further enquiries.
Eastbourne Police were called to the harbour front just before midnight last night (1 February) to reports a man had been attacked outside a bar with a knife.
A 38-year-old man was found with wounds to his neck and was taken to the Conquest Hospital in Hastings by ambulance. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
