Eastbourne MP Caroline Ansell is urging everyone to make sure they are registered to vote in next month’s EU referendum.
Teenagers who have turned 18 since the 18 April registration deadline for the recent local elections, or anyone who has moved will have to register by 7 June to be able to vote in the poll to decide whether the UK stays or leaves the European Union.
“To say this is an important vote would be an understatement as it will frame our relationship with Europe for many years to come, whatever the outcome," said Caroline.
"So it's vital that everyone casts their vote. To do so they must be registered like in any other election and I really hope that people will make sure they are."
