A car has gone over Beachy Head.
Coastguards sounded the alarm just before 11am (28 February) and were sent to the cliffs near the Peace Path.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service to be sent to the scene at 11.08am. Two appliances from Bexhill and Battle were mobilised, along with the service’s maritime team from Newhaven.
A coastguard helicopter was also flown in from Lydd airfield in Kent.
It’s thought the car may have gone over the cliff edge at some time during the night.
