Eastbourne Masters Ladies team are confirmed as British Champions for the National T30 Competition.
Chris Brooks, Jane Thomas, Sarah Knapman and Wendy Pritchard combined their power, strength and swimming ability in the pool to win the British title.
The T30 involves each team member swimming the longest distance they can in 30 minutes, the total distance swum by this fantastic team was 7605 metres, placing them at the top of the 200-239 years combined age group.
This outstanding achievement crowned the ladies as overall relay champions of Britain.
Individually they also made the top three in each age group they entered - Jane and Wendy gained Silver medals, whilst Sarah and Chris both collected Bronze medals.
Wendy Pritchard the President of Eastbourne Swimming Club said, "This is an amazing achievement and the club is very proud of the swimmers."
