Children at an Eastbourne school have made a real splash for charity.
Year 5 pupils from Bede’s Prep School recently took part in a Swimathon, organised by the Bede’s Senior School BTEC students to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Trust.
The aim of the morning was to swim as many lengths as possible in 45 minutes.
Parkmead Primary School also participated swimming 154 lengths and Bede's Prep School managed to squeeze a few more swimming 159 lengths.
The children were awarded a medal and a certificate and were thrilled to have helped raise £200 for the Marie Curie Trust.
