A disappointing loss for Eastbourne Borough in the National League South yesterday (18 March).
Bath City were the visitors to Priory Lane.
An eventful first half, saw several yellow cards issued, but neither side found the back of the neck.
Mark Hughes was taken off injured after the break, replaced by Gavin McCallum.
City made use of a free kick in the 45th to fire home the first goal of the game. Shaun Hobson gave the visitors a helping hand in the 61st, accidentally diverted a cross into the home net.
Bath City were reduced to 10 men, after a poor tackled on Reece Connolly, which awarded Borough a free kick, something made full use of by Miguel Baptista, who curled it passed the wall and into the back of the net.
The final score Eastbourne Borough 1 – 2 Bath City.
