CCTV has been upgraded at Sovereign Harbour.
Premier Marina say as well as the operation camera upgrades, they have invested £20,000 to install four new cameras in strategic areas of the harbour, which will be supported by a new 24-hour recording system, located in the Marina Reception.
The new HD cameras with 360 pan and automatic infrared night vision have been installed within the west harbour, north harbour, boatyard and inner harbour, which gives the team uninterrupted views of the majority of berths and fairways and boats ashore. Moreover, all lock cameras have been upgraded to a high definition security camera system.
Dan Heckford, Marina Manager at Sovereign Harbour said, “Security at the marina is paramount to us. The use of CCTV at Sovereign Harbour is extremely important for operational efficiency, especially with two busy locks and three remote operated lifting bridges. I am extremely pleased that we’re able to implement these upgrades to improve the security of the marina in time for next season.”
