Eastbourne MP, Caroline Ansell, has confirmed she is safe, after Parliament was put on lock down this afternoon (22 March) after what police say they're treating as a 'terrorist attack'.
A police office has bee stabbed and a man shot in the grounds of the Palace of Westminster.
It's reported that several other people are being treated on Westminster Bridge after a car mounted a pavement there.
Caroline told Eastbourne Buzz she missed the incident by a matter of minutes, but stresses she is safe.
It has also been confirmed that Polegate MP, Maria Caulfield and Pevensey MP, Huw Merriman are also both safe.
