Eastbourne’s Christmas Market is on the move.
After two years at the Bandstand, the Chamber of Commerce has confirmed the market is now to move into the town centre for Christmas 2017. It is expected to be based on the stretch of Terminus Road from Bankers Corner to Debenhams.
Whilst details are still being confirmed by organisers, they have promised a celebration of the highest quality local produce, handmade arts and crafts as well as performances from artists in the town.
Luke Johnson, Town Centre and Borough Market Supervisor said, “Last year, thousands visited our Christmas market which is continuing to grow from strength to strength. This year, we want to overwhelm your senses with the best local Sussex produce. So, you’ll be able to soak in live music, be tempted with some delicious sweet treats and buy some unique, handmade items. Not only this, but we’ve also spoken to Father Christmas who has promised to visit us!”
