Samurai Sword Stolen In Eastbourne

A Japanese samurai-type sword has been stolen from a flat in Eastbourne.

Thieves broke into the home in Cavendish Place between 4pm on Monday 20 March and 4pm on Tuesday 21 March.

The sword is between 27 and 35 inches in length, with a 12 inch hilt, and a brown sheath. The hilt is missing the end cap. It is hoped the sword will be distinctive and anyone being offered or hearing of a similar item should contact police.
