There are calls for authorities to think again over the design of parking restrictions in Prince William Parade in Eastbourne.
Some fear an accident is just waiting to happen, as pedestrians are unable to see properly when crossing the road. This is because cars are able to park directly to the right of dropped kerbs, obstructing their view of the road.
For those with children, buggies, dogs or those in wheelchairs, they say they feel even more vulnerable.
