Hampden Park is stepping back in time.
To raise money for the Mayor of Eastbourne’s chosen charities, an Edwardian tea is planned at the café, which has been in the park since at least 1908.
Taking place on 23 April, the Eastbourne Silver Band will be playing from 2.30pm, with June Mullins singing music hall songs from the period. There will also be a tombola and creams teas at £3 each.
Visitors are invited to dress in period costume if they would like to.
The Duke of Edinburgh Awards and Women’s Refuge will benefit from the fundraising effort.
