Eastbourne Town celebrated their highest attendance of the season for their derby with Eastbourne United yesterday (17 April).
More than 560 fans packed into The Saffrons for the Easter Monday SCFL Premier Division clash.
Eastbourne United were quickly reduced to 10 men, with Shaun Lee shown a red card. Jason Taylor responded with a goal from the penalty spot for Town, which was answered by Ollie Sotoyinbo for United before the break.
The second half saw Town make the most of their man advantage, with a brace from Chris Cumming-Bart and Ethan Strevett also putting one away.
The final score Eastbourne Town 4 – 1 Eastbourne United.
The win sees Town widen the gap between the two sides to 5 points.
