Eastbourne Police say they are aware of boy racers causing problems around the back of The Crumbles at Asda.
Eastbourne Buzz has received several complaints of antisocial driving late at night in the area, causing disruption and concern to nearby residents.
A police spokesperson said, “We are aware of the problems at this particular location and as with other areas, we have worked with landowners to encourage them to install traffic calming measures to deter and prevent antisocial driving.
“We do specifically target areas, sometimes in association with roads policing colleagues as part of our on-going road safety initiatives, but we have to prioritise our responses and it is not always possible to attend reports.
“However, those who do drive anti-socially, whether in car parks or on the open road, need to be aware of the dangers they are posing to themselves and others. If we do have the evidence, then vehicles can be seized and offending drivers can be prosecuted.”
