‘Get Up, Stand Up’ for an incredible night of music as the Trenchtown Experience, pay tribute to Bob Marley and the Wailers at Eastbourne’s Bandstand on Friday (19 May) for the first time, as part of the longest tribute season yet at the Bandstand.
Audiences will be left with ‘One Love’ for the UK’s number one Bob Marley and the Wailers tribute, featuring the band’s greatest hits: ‘I Shot the Sheriff’, ‘Three Little Birds’, ‘Could You Be Loved’ and ‘No Woman, No Cry’, the tribute act will surely leave the audience ‘Jammin’ as they are transported back to the Caribbean.
The Trenchtown Experience is an eight-piece tribute band comprised of London’s top professionals from the reggae scene who have worked with the likes of UB40, Yellowman and Third World. As homage to Marley’s ‘I-Threes’, the Trenchtown Experience are the only tribute band that uses an all-female backing trio to recreate the iconic music of Bob Marley and the Wailers.
From the exotic and bold music of the Caribbean on the Friday night, visitors can enjoy a night of the captivating, soulful sound of Motown on Saturday (20 May), to continue with Tribute season at the Bandstand.
The Arrindell Sisters pay tribute to Diana Ross and the Supremes, with all of the smooth vocals and deep soul and Motown feel of the most successful female group of the 60’s. The trio of sisters, Keri, Sharlene and Jennifer Arrindell successfully embody the Spirit of Soul and Motown in an evening of graceful harmonies and vibrant entertainment.
Running every Friday and Saturday night throughout the summer, from April through to October, these fantastic nights showcase the best tribute acts for everyone to enjoy.
Doors and the bar open at 7.00pm with the concert kicking off at 8.00pm for an evening of entertainment. Ticket prices start at £7.75 for adults and £5.50 for children, with 10% discount for Friends of the Bandstand.
