The Man in Black is back for another spectacular show, as Kevin Lovatt pays tribute to Johnny Cash at Eastbourne Bandstand on Friday (9 June) as part of the longest running tribute season yet.
One of the country’s best tributes, Kevin Lovatt dons the style and sound of the iconic country singer. Embracing the same depth and tone of the American artist, fans have commented that Lovatt often sounds more like Johnny Cash than Cash himself.
Visitors can enjoy the deep soulful sound of Cash, as this incredible performer plays all of his greatest hits including ‘I Walk the Line’, ‘Ring of Fire’, ‘A Boy Named Sue’, and ‘Hurt’.
The Weymouth-based tribute singer teams with the fantastic JCT band, capable of playing Cash’s wide range of style and genres, to deliver an unforgettable night of music and entertainment.
Following on from the Friday night’s performance, Quo-incidence, the incredible tribute act to Status Quo, takes centre stage on Saturday (10 June). Audiences will be ‘Rockin’ all Over the World’ with an evening of ‘Old Time Rock and Roll’ as they sing along to the Quo’s greatest hits ‘Whatever You Want’, ‘Pictures of Matchstick Men’, ‘Paper Plane’ and many more. Tribute season continues at the Bandstand, every Friday and Saturday night until October, with outstanding tributes paying homage to icons of the music industry.
Doors and the bar open at 7.00pm with the concert kicking off at 8.00pm for an evening of entertainment. Ticket prices start at £7.75 for adults and £5.50 for children, with 10% discount for Friends of the Bandstand.
