It’s a busy weekend for the Eastbourne Eagles, with two away matches.
This evening (24 June, they head to Stoke, before travelling to the Peak District to visit Buxton tomorrow afternoon.
Team manager Connor Dugard has set his sights at collecting more points on the road to further close the gap on the Belle Vue Colts at the top of the National League table.
A maximum of eight points are available from the two matches for the Eagles and such a haul would see them go top.
Dugard said, “We are in a confident frame of mind and we always look to win, whether home or away.
“It is going to be a busy time and we hope to avoid injuries and machine problems at Stoke which could impact on our visit to Buxton.”
At Stoke, the Eagles use rider replacement for Mattie Bates, who has work commitments, but he is back at Buxton. Kean Dicken guests at No 6 at Stoke while William O’Keefe takes the spot at Buxton.
At Stoke: Tom Brennan, R/R for Mattie Bates, Georgie Wood, Mark Baseby, Jake Knight, Kean Dicken, Charley Powell.
At Buxton: Tom Brennan, Mark Baseby, Georgie Wood, Mattie Bates, Jake Knight, William O’Keefe, Charley Powell.
