East Sussex is certainly gearing up to ‘Beat the Street’.
Since the initiative started earlier this month, 39,000 people have signed up to take part across the county.
In Eastbourne, the most popular Beat Boxes are near Langney Primary School, the Sovereign Centre and Haven School. The town also boasts the two most popular distribution centres in the whole of the county, being at the Sovereign Centre and the library in Grove Road.
Since the game began, 124,000 miles have been clocked up across the county.
The idea is to get more of us walking, cycling or even using scooters to get around and we tap our cards on the boxes as we pass them, to earn points, which could, in turn, win us prizes.
