More than 70 years after the end of the Second World War and Eastbourne could get a new memorial to the civilians in the town who lost their lives.
174 people were killed during bombing raids on the town and this would be a last dedication to them.
The proposals would see a wall built by the Wish Tower, with the names of those who lost their lives inscribed, along with a quote from Sir Winston Churchill.
Planners at the Borough Council will consider the proposals at a meeting tonight (19 April).
