Woman Attacked In Seaside

A woman’s been attacked and robbed in Eastbourne, leaving her with a dislocated shoulder.

She was withdrawing £80 from the cashpoint outside Sainsbury’s in Seaside Road at 8.40pm last night (2 June) when she was pushed to the ground by a man.

He snatched at the cash, making off with around £20 before running off towards the town centre.

The robber is described as white, 6'2", skinny, wearing a light grey hoody, pale blue jeans and black shoes.

Detective Sergeant Ross Bartlett said; "We think the suspect may have been accompanied by two other men although they do not appear to have taken part in the actual attack. If you saw what happened, we would like to hear from you.
