Foundation Learning students from Oak House, based at Sussex Downs College, Eastbourne, have raised £430 for St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
The Entry 1 students, studying at Oak House, based on campus at Sussex Downs College, presented a cheque for £430 to St Wilfrid’s Hospice, after completing a sponsored walk.
Fourteen students took part in the five-mile walk around the Hampden Park area on 16 June, raising a fantastic £430 for the hospice.
Ellie Clennell, Entry 1 Course Coordinator at Oak House, said, “Our students should be so proud of their fundraising efforts and participation in the walk. This is a fantastic total raised from a small group, and we are so happy to support St Wilfrid’s Hospice, a charity which does such wonderful work in the local community.”
