Maria Caulfield MP has joined residents battling the elements as she opened East Dean & Friston Village Fete.
The annual fete was organised by chair of the fete committee Rosie English and the Residents’ Association chaired by Paul Seeley.
After opening the fete Maria spent time visiting the stalls, including the Residents’ Association, Women’s Institute, RNLI, NSPCC, and a range of local food and drink stalls.
Maria Caulfield said, “I am grateful to Rosie English and all the others who have made the East Dean & Friston Village Fete possible.
“Although the weather wasn’t on our side this year, it was still a wonderful day and great fun.”
