‘The wild boys are calling’ in on their way back from the 80’s to perform at Eastbourne Bandstand. Playing tribute to Duran Duran and the 80’s, ‘DuranDau’ are bringing the audience right back to the New Wave era of music, when the 80’s was a spectacular time for great pop bands. Visitors can re-live the moment in Eastbourne on Friday (4 August).
Formed by renowned award winning tribute artist Paul Reason, who has years of experience within the tribute act world. He created DuranDau with no gimmicks or fakery to accurately capture the unique sound and feel of the 80’s to take their audience back a couple of decades. Focussing solely on the sound, showing their passion for replicating Duran Duran’s realistic performance allows the audience to try and decipher whether DuranDau are performing or they’re watching the real act.
Duran Duran fans can sing along to some of their famous hits, songs include ‘Hungry Like The Wolf’ and ‘A View To A Kill’. Visitors don’t just get Duran Duran, DuranDau also perform classic hits by Spandau Ballet, such as ‘I Don’t Need This Pressure on’, ‘Gold’ and ‘True’.
Visitors can enjoy the best of both worlds by watching one magnificent act.
Continuing into the weekend, Simon & Garfunkel Tribute ‘The Sound of Simon’ perform for the first time on Saturday (5 August), as seen on The One Show the pair embrace Paul Simon’s music as one half of Simon & Garfunkel, also focussing on his solo success. Join The Sound of Simon on a journey across the timeline of Simon & Garfunkel, as they perform hits ‘Mrs Robinson’, ‘The Sounds Of Silence’ and ‘The Obvious Child’.
Doors and the bar open at 7.00pm with the concert kicking off at 8.00pm for an evening of entertainment. Ticket prices start at £7.75 for adults and £5.50 for children, with 10% discount for Friends of the Bandstand.
