With the ladies and gents toilets closed at Eastbourne Railway Station for most of the day, there are calls for them to be re-opened.
Currently, Southern Rail has taken the decision to only have the toilets open between 5.30-9.30am, owing to antisocial behaviour, meaning customers must find a staff member to gain access to the accessible loo.
Eastbourne MP, Stephen Lloyd, has been telling Eastbourne Buzz this situation needs to change:
Update: Since this story was published, there seems to be confusion as to when the toilets are open. On Sunday (6 August) at 5pm, the doors to the toilets were open, but the sign stating they are only open between 5.30-9.30am was still in place.
