Following the latest breakdown of talks to find a solution to the ongoing rail dispute over driver-only trains, Eastbourne’s MP is demanding the Secretary of State get all parties, including the Department for Transport together in the same room for further discussions.

Last night, the RMT Union said the only way to progress the negotiations, was for the Department for Transport to get involved, believing they have gone as far as they can with only Southern involved.

Stephen Lloyd fears that with another halt in talks, it could lead to further strike action, once again hitting Eastbourne and the south east.
