The course, which will take place at 3VA, 8 Saffrons Road, Eastbourne BN21 1DG, is for trustees, managers, fundraisers and other individuals who are responsible for or involved in writing funding bids for their voluntary and community organisations. The session will be particularly useful for beginners or those with limited experience of fundraising who wish to apply to Eastbourne Borough Council’s Small Grants scheme.
Every year, Eastbourne Borough Council awards grants to voluntary and community organisations for services and activities which benefit Eastbourne and its residents. This is a two-stage process. In the first stage, organisations are invited to submit an initial Expression of Interest. Those organisations which meet EBC's eligibility criteria and priorities are then invited to submit a detailed application. Please note that the deadline for expressions of interest is 5pm Friday 22 September 2017. For further information and to download and application, please visit EBC's Community Grants website.
