Langney Wanderers are through to the second round of the Peter Bentley Challenge Cup.
Hosting Ringmer at Priory Lane last night (8 August), it was the visitors who scored first, with Paul Rogers pulling Langney level, before Wayne Wilkinson gave them a 2-1 lead. However, The Blues forced extra time, scoring again in the dying seconds.
Shane Saunders put Langney in front again, before being sent off, and Paul Rogers doubled the lead, securing their place in the next stage of the competition with a 4-2 victory.
Langney Wanderers will now face Little Common in the second round.
