It’s thought the quick thinking and actions of a former member of Eastbourne RNLI may have saved a man’s life at the weekend.
A speedboat overturned on Sunday (20 August), prompting Michael Wishman to spring into action. He was on a jet-ski as part of the safety patrol in place for Airbourne.
He selflessly dived into the water and pulled the sailor, who had become trapped, from his capsized vessel.
