Harbour Calls For Brakes To Be Put On Racers

Residents in Sovereign Harbour say enough is enough when it comes to boy racers.

Eastbourne Buzz has received several reports of cars and motorbikes causing havoc, in particular on Thursday nights at 10pm, when they congregate behind Asda at The Crumbles and in the car park at the top of Atlantic Drive.

Many residents say they have contacted the police, but aren’t happy with the response they’ve had, calling for more to be done. Eastbourne MP, Stephen Lloyd has stepped in, also joining calls for police to up patrols in the area.

Eastbourne Buzz has been speaking to one concerned resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, who says she’s put up with this for eight years:
